Becky loses 4 stone 12 lbs for her daughter!

Struggling to balance her family life with a university course proved almost impossible for Becky due to poor eating habits and weight problems. She lacked energy, was unable to keep pace with her 3 year old daughter and even found herself having to battle physical ailments aggravated by her weight.

The smallest exertion left Becky gasping for breath and the ache of her joints became a constant reminder of just how unfit she was.

“Last September I started university. I have to walk there which nearly killed me!”

Although Becky has never been a fading wallflower she does admit that her confidence was often contrived for external appearances.

“I have always been quite confident but some of that was the façade of the weighty; when you overcompensate by being the funny one or the loud one. I also avoided mirrors as they upset me and I think I denied to myself how big I actually was.”

Now when she makes a witty comment or becomes the life and soul of a party it is because she is at ease with herself rather than trying to pretend she is someone she is not.

“I feel I can be myself more now without trying to distract people from my weight.”

Becky thought nothing of scoffing chocolate and an assortment of other fattening foods before joining the online service. Combining her poor diet habits with her lack of exercise meant she was inching closer to bad health.

“I ate all the wrong foods and would have a take away if I was tired. My routine was all over the place; I skipped meals regularly.”

Now she is a reformed eater and sticks strictly to healthy eating guidelines. The menus have educated her about how healthier, more balanced approaches to eating can be satisfying and enjoyable without the guilt!

“The menus have helped me by making me plan the meals for the day. I also feel more confident when I do go out for a meal and no longer automatically opt for the burger or chips. That is not to say I don’t treat myself now and again, I just know that moderation is key.”
